Become a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist
The Medical Billing and Coding program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully be hired as a Medical Billing & Coding Assistant position in medical offices, hospitals, and insurance offices.
As a Medical Billing and Coding Specialist, you'll be an important part of the medical process as someone who is responsible for making sure that the payment for services are received by insurance companies.
You'll be ready to start your new career in as little as 22 weeks as a full-time student, or 37 weeks as a part-time student.

Start a Career in Medical Assisting
Administrative and Clinical
The Medical Assistant - Administrative & Clinical program at Summit College is designed to give students the basic knowledge and skills necessary to work as an entry-level Medical Assistant. Our programs are designed to get ready for your career in just 12 weeks as a full-time student, and just 21 weeks as a part-time student.
We'll prepare you for both front office administrative skills as well as back office clinical skills. The "front office" skills required in a health care setting, while the Clinical portion of the course is designed to prepare the student to work in a clinical environment in a hospital, doctor's office or medical clinic.
The training Sandra received at Summit was appealing employers, and she ultimately accepted a job offer at Loma Linda Medical University.

Summit College's Licensed Vocational Nurse program is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for you to begin a new rewarding career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Get the education that you need to quickly begin a new career as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in our accredited training program. By the time you're done with our program, you would have passed the Vocational Nurse License exam and ready to join the workforce in an exciting new career.
